Fayette Fest

Fayette Fest is a must-see for everyone who enjoys horses, especially horse racing. The Red Mile, one of the world’s oldest horse racing tracks, hosts this family-friendly event, which boasts an oval race track with a clay surface. There’s also a beer garden, food trucks, live music events, and kid-friendly attractions at the site. There’s also a marketplace with sellers offering a variety of unique products, so bring some cash because you never know what you’ll find.

Both the local and out-of-state LGBT+ communities are served at the Lexington Pride Festival. The event provides a secure and inclusive place for this varied group to come together and celebrate. Every year, it grows in popularity, attracting larger audiences and more exhibitors, resulting in a highly entertaining and dynamic event. To keep things fresh and interesting, the organizers go out of their way to present attendees with an entertaining daily agenda. So, you can expect beauty pageants, dance performances, deejays, drag shows, and slam poetry, to name a few.

Tahlsound Music Festival

At this thrilling event, music enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to. The Thalsound Music Festival is another family-friendly event that features a wide range of fascinating bands. It’s a two-day event that takes place throughout the weekend, and attendees can come back as long as they wear their wristbands. Air loungers, backpacks, blankets, cameras, folding chairs, sealed plastic water bottles, sunscreen, insect repellent, and umbrellas are permitted at this outdoor festival.

Kentucky Three Day Event

Kentucky is a fantastic area for horseback riders and equestrians. It is home to the Fayette Fest as well as the Kentucky Three Day Event. The latter, which takes place at the Rolex Stadium, is a more formal affair. At the next 2020 event, participants can witness several cross-country and show jumping competitions and even do some glamping. There are also single-day and multi-day packages available for single persons, large families, and groups.

Crave Food + Music Festival

If you enjoy amazing food, live music, and a warm atmosphere, make your way to the Crave Food + Music Festival in Kentucky in August. There will never be a dull moment here, with vehicle exhibitions, cooking competitions, food trucks, kids’ activities, and live performances. Athenian Grill, Edley’s BBQ, Hippie Dips, LaRosa’s, Pasta Garage, Ranada’s Bistro and Bar, and Texas da Brazil are just a handful of the noteworthy food sellers. There’s also a mobile painting studio where youngsters can learn how to paint roadway safety signs.
