Bennett is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

The second hit-and-run took place the following morning, Wednesday, around 6:50 AM, on Georgetown Road near Mercer Road. A pedestrian was struck in this incident and now suffers from life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders rushed the individual to a hospital for urgent medical care.
The driver involved, Jaime Caldwell, 29, fled the scene but was located approximately 90 minutes later at Glendover Elementary School, where she is employed. Despite this, she claimed not to be aware that she had hit a person while driving.
Following her arrest, Caldwell failed several field sobriety tests and is now also being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
