Morehead, Kentucky – Two Kentucky residents recently hit the jackpot after purchasing winning Powerball tickets, with one ticket winning a staggering $150,000 and another winning $50,000. The drawing occurred on a Saturday night, and the winning numbers were 7, 25, 37, 39, 63, and Powerball 1.

The ticket that garnered the $150,000 prize was bought at a Walmart located at 200 Walmart Way in Morehead. The other winning ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at E-G America situated at 109 Towne Center Dr. in Lexington. Winners are required to claim their prizes at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters located at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. To do so, winners must call 1-877-789-4532 to schedule an appointment for their prize claims.

Despite the excitement of the winning tickets, the Powerball jackpot remains unclaimed, currently estimated at $139 million. The next drawing is scheduled for Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11 p.m. EST.

Additional Winning Tickets in Kentucky

In addition to the winning tickets in Morehead and Lexington, another $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Bardstown, purchased at Walmart on 3795 East Rowan Boulevard. The winning numbers for this ticket were 6, 7, 25, 46, 57, and Powerball 12. The Bardstown winner has 180 days from March 22 to claim their prize.

Moreover, Bowling Green also saw a big win with a $50,000 ticket purchased at Five Star located at 7288 Louisville Rd. This ticket had winning numbers of 11, 18, 23, 38, 60, and Powerball 9, from a drawing held on March 17.

Claiming Prizes and Future Drawings

All Powerball winners in Kentucky must claim their prizes at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters and are advised to call ahead to arrange for their appointment. Timely claims ensure that players do not miss the deadline to collect their winnings.

As excitement builds for the next Powerball drawing, the jackpot has skyrocketed to an estimated $416 million, with the next chance to win set for March 19 at 11 p.m. EST. With more residents becoming winners, the allure of the game continues to grow across the state.
