Lexington – Two teenagers have been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of 16-year-old Arsenio Jackson Jr. The latest charge was announced by the Lexington Police Department on April 14, 2025, following a prior arrest of another suspect in the case.
The tragic incident took place on March 4, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m. in the 700 block of Rambling Creek Drive. Arsenio Jackson Jr. was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds in the street and was pronounced dead approximately one hour after the shooting occurred.
A 16-year-old suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held at a juvenile detention center. Previously, a 17-year-old was also charged with murder related to the same incident on March 12, 2025, and is also in a juvenile detention facility.
